Meet the Youngs
Jessica and Amber Young
After Amber and Jessica got married in September 2020, they bought a home one hour outside of Los Angeles to get away from the city. With Amber coming from rural Louisiana, and Jessica growing up farming with her grandfather in Iowa, they knew they wanted to start their own farm.
While there's a saturation of "influencer farmers", their main goal has, and always will be, to provide farm fresh foods to the community at an affordable price - all without the fancy social media presence.
They are currently trying to grow fruits and vegetables, and hope to one day join local farmer's markets to share Young's Nuggs with everyone.
If you can't reach us, it's because we're enjoying life on the farm.
First Flock Arrival: 4.21.2022
We spent 3 months with our chicks growing into the beautiful hens and roosters that they are. After making finishing touches to the Nugg's space, they made roots in their new home, in the beautiful California countryside.
